I spend a lot of time online searching for heartfelt stories and following other solopreneurs to get creative ideas that keep me inspired. One thing I noticed is how woefully inadequate I feel when spending too much time online. The message seeping into my consciousness is that I have a lot to learn, a lot to do, and a lot to change in order to be successful.
But that’s just hogwash! There is so much conflicting advice online and trying to adhere to all of it will leave us questioning our own abilities. We assume we are lacking something that we don’t have, as evidenced by the fact that everyone online is successful and we’re not.
The message I’d like to get across is that WE ARE CAPABLE JUST AS WE ARE! No need to spend time, money or energy on something you’ve convinced yourself you need before you move forward. Stop allowing the belief that you’re not good enough interfere with you moving forward. Spend less time online looking for the answers, and more time feeling for what feels good for you and what works for you. One size does not fit all.
Sign up for my email newsletter (in the column to the right of this post) for a free exercise that will help you cultivate the belief that you have what it takes to succeed, right now. Give yourself 15 minutes to fully engage in the process. Better yet, enlist a friend and do the exercise together. Having someone asking questions will help you go deeper with the memory.
Just remember, you already have what it takes to succeed!
