Does your day just keep getting worse and worse? Take a minute to assess the thoughts currently running around in your head. Are they continuously causing anxieties? Are you thinking about scenarios in the future that haven’t even happened yet? Are you focused on a perceived lack of something? Most likely, in the midst of these thoughts, you’re ignoring the present while spilling coffee on your white shirt and stepping in dog poop.
Emotions are responses to the thoughts in our heads. So if our thoughts are negative, we respond with negative emotions. These emotions give off energy that attracts the same level of energy. Like attracts like. If you deliberately focus on thoughts that feel better, you’ll respond with positive emotions and will give off a more positive energy that attracts the same level of energy. Your day will improve which will cause you to focus more on the here and now which is full of positive things that cause you to focus on even more positive things. And so on.
It’s never a good idea to let your mind run free without your knowledge of what’s going on up there.
