In 2017, I took some time off from coaching to get certified as a group fitness instructor and am currently taking a course in senior fitness. Sometimes it’s great to just take a step back and look at your life from a different vantage point. I realized that what motivates me is the desire to be independent for as long as I can as I age, and I think that’s what motivates many others.
I’ve been teaching strength training classes and beginner workshops for several years now, and adding that to the coaching mix just makes sense. How can we accomplish our health goals if we’re stuck in other areas of our lives?
If you want to be healthier, I can help with the fitness piece as well as any lifestyle changes to help support you. Also, getting healthy can be tough if there are other roadblocks, which can be worked on through life coaching. I mostly offer the two-hour Unstuck coaching package. And I’m playing around with a few fitness coaching ideas based on what people tell me they want/need.
I’m not sure how all of this will evolve going forward, but it sure is fun being on this path and enjoying myself along the way.
