Hooked on TED: Listening to Shame (Brene Brown)

A recent follow up to Brene Brown’s hugely popular Vulnerability talk.  She speaks about what happened after that talk and goes on to define vulnerability as “our most accurate measurement of courage.”  People think that vulnerability is a weakness, but as Brene concludes it’s amazingly the “birthplace of innovation, creativity and change.”  So people who are in any kind of life transition might have an easier time if they’re willing to be vulnerable.  To do that they must override shame, which is that thing that says “you’re not good enough” and “who do you think you are?”
